Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the iOS app MMTree. Your journal stays on your device by default. Limited content leaves the device only after you give consent and request a Mate response.

What we collect

In-app content you create: moment text, thoughts, mood, intensity, dates, tags, tree/branch structure, optional photos, Mate replies, and feedback. Stored on device by default.
Optional iCloud data: if you enable cloud sync or backup, that content can sync through your personal iCloud / CloudKit account. We do not operate a dashboard over your private iCloud database.
Device unlock: optional Face ID or device passcode. Biometric data is handled by iOS on-device and is not uploaded.
Photos: only images you pick for a moment, stored in the app sandbox and, if enabled, your private iCloud.
Mate AI requests (consent required): the current moment, limited earlier branch context, mood/intensity, and Mate preferences. The full journal is not uploaded.
Purchases: consumable Mate replies are processed by Apple. We do not collect your card number.
Support email: if you contact us from the app, that message is sent to our contact inbox. We do not use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.

How we use it

To show, edit, and back up your trees and moments.
To generate a Mate reflection after consent, then save it to that moment on device.
To verify App Store purchases and remaining credits.
To sync or restore through iCloud when you choose.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data.
We do not run ads or App Tracking Transparency cross-app tracking.
Mate is not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, prediction, or crisis care.

Third parties

Apple: App Store, StoreKit, iCloud / CloudKit, and system notifications used for cloud sync. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Mate generation: requests go through our proxy to an AI provider solely to produce the response you asked for. Provider processing is not intended as long-term storage of your journal.

Your choices

Revoke AI consent in Settings to stop future Mate sends.
Reset the local library to delete local moments, photos, replies, branches, and trees. This does not revoke consent.
Delete the app to remove on-device data. Manage iCloud copies through Apple’s controls.
Use MMTree as a local journal without Mate.

Retention

On-device content remains until you delete it, reset the library, or uninstall the app. Mate requests are used to generate that response. iCloud backups follow your Apple account.

我们收集什么

你在应用内创建的内容：Moment 文字、想法、情绪、强度、日期、标签、树枝/树木结构、可选照片、Mate 回复与反馈。这些内容默认存储在本机。
可选 iCloud 数据：如果你开启云同步或备份，上述内容可通过你的个人 iCloud / CloudKit 在你的设备之间同步。该数据位于你的 Apple 账户下，我们无法像运营自己的服务器那样浏览你的私人 iCloud 数据库。
设备解锁：可选使用 Face ID / 设备密码解锁应用。生物识别数据由 iOS 在设备上处理，我们不会采集或上传指纹/面容数据。
照片：仅在你选择添加到 Moment 时，从照片图库读取你选中的图片，并保存在应用沙盒中（若开启云功能，也可能进入你的私人 iCloud）。
Mate AI 请求（需同意）：当你请求 Mate 回复时，应用会发送当前 Moment、有限的先前分支摘要、情绪/强度，以及你的 Mate 偏好，用于生成这一次回复。不会上传整本日记。
购买信息：Mate 按次消耗型内购通过 Apple 完成。我们不收集你的信用卡号。Apple 会按自己的政策处理付款。
诊断与反馈：如果你通过应用内邮件联系我们，邮件内容会发送到我们的联系邮箱。我们不使用第三方广告 SDK，也不做跨 App 广告追踪。

我们如何使用

在设备上显示、编辑、备份你的树木与 Moment。
在你同意后，生成 Mate 反思回复，并把结果存回本机该 Moment。
验证 App Store 购买、提供免费次数与已购额度。
在你选择使用时，通过 iCloud 在你的设备间同步或恢复。

我们不会做什么

不出售你的个人数据。
不做广告追踪，不使用 ATT 跨 App 跟踪。
不把 Mate 当作诊疗、预测或危机干预服务。

第三方

Apple：App Store、StoreKit、iCloud / CloudKit、推送（用于云同步相关系统通知）。受 Apple 隐私政策约束。
Mate 生成服务：请求经我们的代理服务发送给 AI 提供方，仅用于生成你请求的这一次回复。提供方请求不以长期保存你的日记内容为目的。

你的选择

可在设置中撤销 AI 同意，之后不会再发送 Mate 请求。
可重置本机资料库（删除本机 Moment、照片、回复、树枝与树木）。这不会自动撤销同意。
可删除应用，以移除本机数据。iCloud 中的数据可在设备/设置中按 Apple 的方式管理。
可停止使用 Mate，仅把 MMTree 当作本机日记。

数据保留

本机内容由你保留，直到你删除条目、重置资料库或卸载应用。Mate 请求用于生成当次回复，不以长期保存个人日记为目的。iCloud 备份由你的 Apple 账户保留。
